SMS Messaging Policy

Ambit sends SMS messages only to users who have explicitly opted in through their account settings. This page describes what messages we send, how to opt in, and how to opt out.
What messages we send
If you opt in, Ambit sends you the following types of messages:
- Daily nudge digest: once per day, at the time you select, Ambit sends you a brief summary of people worth reaching out to, promises that are due, and upcoming important dates.
- Replies to your messages: when you text Ambit (for example, to log a new person or update a record), Ambit sends a confirmation reply.
- Operational notifications: rare messages about your account (e.g. confirmation when you change your phone number).
We never send marketing, promotional, or third-party messages.
How often we message
Approximately 1-10 messages per day, depending on how often you text Ambit. The daily nudge is one message per day.
How you opt in
- Sign in to Ambit at personalambit.com
- Go to Settings → SMS Messaging
- Enter your mobile phone number
- Check the consent box that reads: "I agree to receive SMS messages from Ambit including daily nudges, reminders, and responses to my texts. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to cancel. Reply HELP for help."
- Click "Enable SMS"

How to opt out
You can stop SMS messages from Ambit at any time. Two equivalent options:
- Reply STOP to any message from Ambit. Ambit will immediately stop further SMS delivery. We will also record the opt-out in your account.
- Open Settings in the Ambit web app and click "Disable SMS" in the SMS Messaging section. This clears your opt-in flag and writes the opt-out to your consent log.

Reply "HELP" at any time to get a brief summary of commands and a link back to this page. You can also email team@personalambit.com
Message and data rates
Standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Ambit does not charge you separately for SMS.
Carrier disclosure
Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy and your data
Phone numbers and message contents are handled per our Privacy Policy. Use of Ambit is governed by our Terms and Conditions.
